Do you usually take a bath or you just take a quick shower? If you have a habit of taking the bath, did you ever think about meditating in the bath? That is easy; fill the bath with the hot water, hot as you feel it comfortable.
Ad some bath minerals and scents, for increasing the sensation. It is important to find a suitable time for this meditation, when nobody will be disturbing you. Assure that there is no noise or strong light around you.
When you feel ready step into bath and try to completely relax. After you enter the bath start with breathing exercises. Breath slowly and deeply, while giving the longer time to exhale than to inhale.
If you usually stay long in the bath, now this time try to stay even longer. Let the water gradually cold down, as long as it is pleasant. Try to feel your body. Visualize your body relaxing, part by part. Start with the head and gradually relax all body parts until you reach your toes.
Now we come to the important part. When you finish with your bath do not just step out. Instead unplug the sink and stay in the bath. Simply stay in the bath and let the water level slowly go down.
During the water draining you will feel different sensations. Since you probably didn't try this before, the mixed emotions may be possible. You may be a bit unpleasant. You may feel as your energy is draining with the water. On the other hand you can feel your body as it is, in its natural form.
Try the bath meditation and follow the responds of your body. If you persist you may reach the state of full awareness of your body and true happiness.
