During
daily activities, at work, a
school or any other place, we
are exposed to stress,
exhaustion and other different
influences. The human being is a
very flexible and durable. It
can take a huge load on the
shoulders. Only thing that it
requires in return is a time for
rest. This rest can be passive
like sleeping or taking a nap.
Also it can be active, like
fitness or talking to the
friends. The load of daily
activities can be taken as long
as there is balance between
activity and rest.
But
in contemporary world it is very
often that load on our shoulders
is simply too heavy. The
pressure from our work can
pursue us even while we are at
our home, at the comfort of our
bed. Sometimes nothing seems to
help,
neither shower nor pills. The
problem is in the fact that even
that we are physically far from
our work, we are still mentally
there. As long as there is
mental pressure from the work,
or whatever is your personal
worry, you cannot relax fully.
Next morning you will probably
be tired and feel that you lack
mental strengths for challenges
of a new day.
The
two-week vacation will probably
help, but you simply cannot
afford the vacation any time
that you feel that you need
recharge. The solution should be
found elsewhere. The solution is
supposed to give you the relief
from mental worries of real
world. The solution needs to
distract you from your problems
and to restart your system.

The
Secret place meditation may be
solution for your day to day
pressure. The secret place, or a
personal place, is a imaginary
or real place where you feel
good and safe. This is the place
where time is not important,
obligations are not there and
nobody is chasing you for
anything. This place is
absolutely yours, tailored as
you like it. If you have a real
place that gives you this
feeling, you can choose it as a
place for secret place
meditation. If you do not have
such a perfect place in the real
world, make up your own secret
place. You can imagine it any
way that you want. Imagine place
that will make you happy. That
can be a private island that
looks just as you wish. You can
choose a top of the mountain.
You can choose beautiful oasis
in the desert. You can choose a
forest. Use your imagination,
there is no any limitation. The
purpose of mental construction
of your secret private place is
to create your personal mental
hideout from everyday worries
and obligations.
For
example, you may have chosen a
beautiful cedar forest as your
secret place. Imagine that you
walk through the cedar forest
calm and relaxed. You are fully
confident into trustfulness of
this forest. Try to evoke
sensations of all your senses,
in order to make this visit to
the secret place as real as
possible. Try to feel the cedar
smell, hear song of the birds,
try to feel the breeze on you
cheek. Imagine as more realistic
picture of your secret place as
possible. Now come to the
beautiful glade in the middle of
the forest. At the middle of the
glade is your personal place for
rest. That can be the house,
tent, a warm pool or anything
that will make you relaxed and
happy. Enter your private place
and feel your self relaxing and
recharging.
Whenever
you are exhausted or under a
stress, come to your secret
place and spend there 15-20
minutes. Imagine that your body
is relaxing and filling with
energy. Imagine your mind
without any worry or obligation.
Whenever you are mentally or
emotionally exhausted come to
your secret private place and
recharge your batteries.
Remember
to keep your private place
private. It will not be a secret
and private if you tell the
right description of it to the
others. Simply keep all the
power of that place to yourself.
Let other people design their
own private secret place. If you
exercise secret place meditation
often you will increase the
power of visualization. Better
visualization of your secret
place will make it more powerful
and protecting. The strength of
the mental picture of your
secret place and sensation that
you experience are the key of
success. Remember to keep the
positive approach when
visualizing and entering your
private place.
