What
powers are channeled through
chakras? What is the influence
of energy flow through our
chakras?
The
human body is magnificent
mechanism capably of doing
extraordinary things both in
area of physical or intellectual
area. The human body is capable
of achieving extreme physical
performance in the sport or at
work. The human mind can
memorize a huge amount of
information, create ideas and
innovations, design new machines
that serve us or create
interesting books. Still the
performance of the human mind
and body is varying. Even the
same individual have various
levels of physical and
intellectual output from one day
to another.
The
performance of our body and mind
depends of all inputs that we
give to it. A proper food, rest,
exercise and living conditions
are important inputs to our mind
and body. The most important
input to our mind and body is
the absorption of life
force energy ( prana, ki,
chi, orgone, ... ). The life
force energy is powering up our
body through the network of
energy channels and energy
centers. This network is very
complex. The life force energy network has
a main life force energy
centers. The yogis called these
centers chakras. The translation
from Sanskrit
language for
chakra
is
"wheel".
The
life force energy ( yogis use
the term prana ) is entering to our
body through the chakras. There
are seven main chakras. Every
chakra has influence to the
certain part of the body. Every
chakra is the entrance for
the energy of specific
frequency. If some chakra is
blocked than the prana can not
enter the certain part of the
body. As the result the illness
may occur. Every chakra is
positioned in the vicinity of
some gland.
First
chakra is positioned at the base
of the spine, between anus and
genitals. Once activated it shines
with red-orange color. First
chakra is connected to adrenal
gland. First
chakra is channeling the earth's
energy ( Yin ) to our body. When
this chakra is blocked the
problems with kidneys may
appear.
Second
chakra ( sacral chakra ) is
referring to spleen.
It is positioned close above
genitals. Once activated it shines
with all colors: orange, red,
yellow, blue and violet. This
chakra is also related to
sexuality.
Third
chakra ( hara ) is positioned
around belly button. This chakra
is connected with pancreas
and is glowing with green color.
Fourth
chakra is called heart chakra,
since it is positioned near the
heart. It is related to thymus.
Once activated it glows with
heated gold-yellow color.
Fifth
chakra is throat chakra. It is
positioned within throat and it
is connected with thyroid
gland.
It is reflected in silver-blue
color.
Sixth
chakra is positioned between
eyebrows. It is also known as
the third eye. Sixth chakra is
related to pituitary gland. Sixth chakra is also
responsible for conscious mind,
subconscious mind, memory,
intuition and extra sensory
perception ( ESP ). The color of
sixth chakra is indigo.
Seventh
chakra is known as crown chakra.
The old Tibetan scripts describe
this chakra as "lotus flower
with thousand flower
petals. When activated this chakra is
vibrating dominantly above other
chakras. The seventh chakra glow
with all colors, predominantly
with violet color. It is placed
at the top of the head and is
connected with pineal
gland.
This chakra is also the entering
channel for energy of the
universe ( Yang ).
All
chakras are participating in the
network of prana channeling. If
one chakra is blocked than the
whole body is suffering. The
illness may appear at one place,
but in fact the whole body is
ill. If the blockage of one
chakra is lasting for a long
time, the organ referring to
that chakra may be ill. If the
energy blockage continues, the illness
may appear at the other organs
too.
The
chakras need to stay open and
tuned all time in order for
individual to stay happy. The
sources of health and energy
balance are proper nutrition,
exercise and rest. The enemies
of life force energy flow and
good health are stress,
intoxication ( food, tobacco,
alcohol, ... ) and lack of
physical activities. The good way
to stay healthy and to keep
chakras open is exercise and
pranayama.
