What
are the alpha wave brain state?
How can you consciously induce
the alpha wave brain state?

Alpha
state is a state that
appears in the moments
before sleep and during
meditation. During alpha
state breathing becoming
slow and deep, heart is
beating slower, muscles
are relaxing, while your
look, in case that eyes
are still open, is loosing
focus. During the alpha
state the brain waves are
tuning to frequency within
range of 7-14 Hz. When you
are in alpha state you are
deeply relaxed and feel
very pleasant. You can
feel the energy in every
part of your body.
Worries, problems and
negative thoughts are
fading away, while mind
stays awake, ready for
programming. Alpha state
can be used for mental
practicing, learning and
meditation.

It
is important not to THINK while
you are trying to be in alpha
state. If you think you are not
in the alpha state. Visual
symbols and pictures are
ruling
within alpha level. Everything
that you receive from your
subconscious mind during being
in alpha state is transmitted in
a form of visual expressions.
Conscious attempt can bring you
and keep you within alpha level.
This can be difficult at the
beginning, since you will have
tendency to fall asleep or not
be relaxed for alpha state. With
practice you can master entering
and staying in alpha state.
In
order to consciously tune to and
stay in alpha state,
place yourself in comfortable
position, relax and breathe
deeply and slowly. Continue
breathing deeply while counting
breaths from 10 to 1. Mentally
visualize every number as they
come. After finishing this phase
give yourself the
verbal
suggestion "Now I am fully
relax and I feel better than
before". Feel free to coin your
own verbal suggestion. Change it
as you feel that it suits to
you. Then continue with
counting, from 10 to 1.
Visualize that you are getting
deeper and deeper. Visualize
every number. When you reach
number one give yourself verbal
suggestion "Now I am on alpha
state. My mind is completely
relaxed. Every time when I am on
alpha state I will use it in
creative way". From this point
stop consciously thinking. Do
not struggle and fight with your
thoughts. It is better that you
imagine them as clouds that
slowly drifting away from you.
Pay attention to visual
impressions that you will start
to feel. Do not think.
From
this point you can mentally do
whatever you previously planned.
You can go to your personal
place to relax, regain
energy or to enjoy. Or you can
turn on your mental
screen and visualize and
exercise techniques from your
favorite sport. You can heal
or strengthen some part
of your body. You can take
opportunity to consult
your intuition, by
allowing it to speak up through
visualization and pictures that
may come up. Alpha state is
crossroad. It is the junction
from which you are choosing the
direction and goal where and
what you want to be.
You
can use your mind to get the
answers to your questions. If we
try to use our intuition and
subconscious mind we could get
the answers to many questions.
Our subconscious mind is
accumulating and processing vast
amount of information. But
subconscious mind cannot easily
transmit the message since our
conscious mind is too loud. When
you are in alpha state, messages
from subconscious mind can start
to come up.
If
you are practicing some sport you
may be putting a lot of effort
into your training. Still you
may feel that you are missing
some confidence or some
technique is simply beyond you.
The fact is that we are humans
with limitation. One of
limitation is our mind. I we
train only our body, the mind
can stay a limitation that will
prevent you from unlocking your
full potential. Mental training
at alpha level can help you to
unlock your mental barriers.
You
may have some obstacles at work
or in school that you cannot
explain. You try hard to learn
what is necessary for your work
or school, but still something
is preventing you from reaching
the results that you know that
you can do it. May be you should
not involve only intellectual
work of your conscious mind. Try
exercising on alpha level.
Alpha
level can help you to expand the
frontiers. Once you master
conscious entering and staying
in alpha brainwave state, you
can use it for various purposes.
Regardless is your goal to
relax, learn, analyze, and
improve or something else, by
using the alpha state you will
be able to do it much better.
After
finishing your alpha state
session you need to need to
gradually exit. After finishing
with visualizations start with
verbal suggestions "Every time
I am in alpha state I am staying
deeper and I am reaching my
goals". Start counting up from
1 to 5. Finish session with
positive suggestion "I am
awake, perfectly relaxed and
recharged. I am feeling better
than before".
You should stay in alpha
level for around 20 minutes. If
you are interrupted while you
are in any phase of alpha state,
just close your eyes and
continues where you have
stopped.
